What personal equipment does my child need?

Ball Cleats or Running Shoes, Baseball Pants or Athletic Pants, Water Bottle or Energy Drink, Baseball Glove, Catcher Position requires a jock.

What time should I show up to the field for games and practice?

You should arrive 15 minutes before the start of a game or practice to ensure your child has time to get organized and gives the coaches time to set the lineup and any pre-game discussions with the players.

What equipment does the league provide?

PPLL will provide bats, catchers gear and helmets. It is recommended that you provide your own helmet due to health reasons that can arise from sharing. If your child wants to be a catcher, they will require a jock.

Who can play in Pembroke Petawawa Little League?

Any child from the age of 4 to 16 within the league boundaries are welcome.

Where can I buy equipment?

Any sporting goods or department style stores in the area.

How long is the season?

The season is usually mid May to mid July depending on the weather and field conditions.

What are player evaluations?

Player evaluations are used in the Rookie and Minor League divisions to assess the current skill level of each player. They are held usually shortly after the final registration date. The evaluation process has two primary goals: to place players on appropriate teams to balance out fairness resulting in evenly matched teams in all divisions.

When will game schedules be available?

Once registration is completed and evaluations have taken place, and player placement is done. Once this process is completed, we start to create the game schedule. Schedules will be posted on the web site as they are completed. Travel team divisions may take a bit longer as we wait for the out of town games to come in.

When will we receive team notifications from our coach?

Once teams have been finalized. The coach will most likely reach out to his team as soon as he gets the info.

Do you accept special friend requests?

Friend requests are not usually accommodated, with the exception of siblings. One of the aspects of Little League and other team sports and activities is to meet new people.

Is there a discount for multi-player households?

Currently at this time we do not offer a discount for registering more than one player.
